Nivin was one of the heavy sick children from Gaza that were transferred to Jordan – “How do they send us back when the war continues?” wonders the mother
33-year-old Abu Dhaka holds her seven-month-old daughter, Nivin in a makeshift scene in the Al-Saty refugee camp in the northern strip of Gaza. The tiny girl was born with heart disease in the midst of the war, and recently underwent open heart surgery in Jordan. However, in the midst of rejuvenating hostilities, the Jordanian authorities returned her to Gaza.

The nine was shocked: “We left in the midst of a truce. How do they send us back when the war continues? ” The mother wonders.
The Thing is now again with her husband and her children in Gaza. They say Nivin did not complete her treatment before sending her back and worried that her condition could worsen.
“My daughter is in a very bad situation that could lead to her death,” says Enas. “He has heart disease. Sometimes it gets crises and becomes blue. Cannot continue to live in a scene. “
According to the BBC, Nivin was one of the 29 heavy sick children from Gaza who were transferred to Jordan in March, at the initiative of King Abdallah. The transport was carried out while a temporary truce was in force. There, she underwent surgery and began recovering. But two weeks later, the truce collapsed and the war returned heavier. On May 12th, the Enas was unexpectedly informed that she was going to return to Gaza the next day.
Jordan argues that the children who returned were in good shape in terms of their health. They even noted that they were clear from the outset about their intention to send the children back as soon as they do better, adding that this was necessary “for logistical and political reasons”. As the country’s foreign ministry explains, the aim is to avoid permanent removal from the Palestinians.
However, officials from the Ministry of Health in Gaza for their part are challenging it. They argue that children still need medical attention and that their return to war puts their lives at risk.
