Adam, the only one of the ten children of Palestinian pediatrician Alaa al -Nazar to be saved by Israeli bombings, will be transferred to Rome to undergo surgery, according to Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tayyani.
Tayyani added that the journey would take place as soon as the necessary licenses were given and that Adam would be transferred to Italy accompanied by his aunt and children. If there are no bureaucratic delays, the operation may take place on June 11th.
“This shows that the Palestinian people consider our country a point of reference, hope and salvation,” Tayyani added.

A week ago, the Israeli army bombings had caused the deaths of 9 of the 10 Palestinian pediatrician Alaa al -Nazar children who, at the time of the attack, worked at the hospital. Only her husband and little Adam managed to save. The child has severe injuries and is in one of the few hospitals that continue to operate in the Gaza Strip.
