Famous Welsh Actor Michael Cine wrote his first children’s book titled ‘A home for Spark the Dragon’in collaboration with the Shelter charity, which helps homeless in the UK.

The illustrated book, which he wrote with the author from South Wales, Jose Webb, is a tender exploration of what it means to have a home and the power of collective effort.

It tells Spark’s story, “A dragon who always lived high on the hill, until a storm destroyed his nest. His friends – the bear, the beaver, the fireball and the owl – offered him a place to stay, but nothing was the same. They quickly realized that having a home means more than four walls and thought of a way to help him. “

“History telling is an important way to change the world and in the long run, children’s stories can make the biggest change,” he wrote in his preface “A Home for Spark The Dragon”the actor.

The book “comes to life” through Sarah Masini’s illustrations, while a significant portion of the revenue will be donated by Puffin Books publishing house in the charity.

Sean has a 26 -year -old daughter, Lily and two younger children – 5 -year -old Lyra and 3 -year -old Mabli. “When my kids see someone being on stage or on the street or on an entrance, they have a feeling of question. We the greats have ‘numb’ against it. The right reaction is to ask ourselves how it is possible to do so, “he told BBC. He remembered that the first time he read the book to his daughters, he did his best to gain their interest, stressing that it was “perhaps the performance of my life”.
