The Minister of Foreign Affairs Iran Abbas AragHe argued that the missile attack earlier today hit an Israeli military center and intelligence center near Soroka Hospital, causing only “surface damage to a small section” of the health facility.
By posting on X, Arakzi also argued that the installation was “largely evacuated” and was mainly used “to treat Israeli soldiers” fighting in the Gaza War.
“Our strong Armed Forces will continue to hit the criminals who are targeting our people until they stop and pay for their criminal attack on our nation,” Arakchi said, calling on Israeli citizens to avoid military sites.
Earlier, Soroka Hospital General Manager Shlomi Kodesh said the Iranian rocket attack hit an old hospital surgical chamber, causing “extensive damage” there and throughout the complex, causing slight injuries.
Photos from the consequence of the attack show large debris in a portion of the medical complex, with blown windows and debris scattered in nearby buildings.
With more than 1,000 beds, Soroka Hospitals are the largest in southern Israel and serve an area that hosts over 1 million inhabitants. It offers treatment in over 15,000 cancer patients each year.

It is the Israeli regime and not Iran that began all this bloodshed, and are Israeli war criminals and not the Iranians targeting hospitals and citizens. Hundreds of innocent Iranians have been cold -blooded since Israel began its illegal war against the Iranian people last week.
