Last night, at the official residence of King Guillem-Alexander (Willem-Alexander) and Queen Maxima, the magnificent Huis Ten Bosch Palace in The Hague, became the official dinner of the leaders who participated in the NATO summit.

In the imposing Oranjezaal hall, surrounded by impressive Flemish frescoes and artworks, Donald Trump, Emmanuel Macron, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Volodimir Zelnski, Ursula von der Laeen as well as a fine menu.
Indeed, the US president seemed impressed by the room, as he often looked around with admiration.
About 20 chefs of the palace prepared a three -course dinner for the 66 -chosen guests of the Royal couple in the Netherlands.
The menu enjoyed by world leaders included:
• Appetizer: Baked tone with caramelized crust, accompanied by mousse of Amsterdam pickles, chives, cream and crunchy onions.
• Main dish: Beef fillet with chanterelle mushroom sauce, asparagus and potatoes Pommes Paolo.
• Dessert: Chocolate tart with soft caramel, toka seeds and vanilla sauce.
The menu was served in the impressive 9 -piece Blossom Panache dinnerware, with the golden monogram of the king, framed by a golden bordeaux while the guests enjoyed his drinks at the “Crystal Greater Wedding Serve”, a gift to the King and the Queen in 2002.

The imposing Oranjezaal hall was designed in honor of Governor Frederick Hendrick, who played a key role in the Peace of the Minster signed in 1648, ended the eighty -year war and recognized the Dutch Republic.
This room had hosted a similar international event in 1899, the first international peace conference.
