A 26-year-old woman living in Borno, in the greater Milan area, was murdered with unprecedented brutality by her 43-year-old neighbor.
The victim was named Carol Maltezi, she had worked as a saleswoman and in recent years had chosen to follow a new path as a porn star.
The killer, according to the first information, works as a bank employee. According to the Italian press, the woman was murdered in January, her body was dismembered, the perpetrator put it in a freezer for two months and a week ago she placed it in black plastic bags, which she threw into a ravine outside Borno.
The identification of the corpse became possible only thanks to a series of tattoos made by the young woman. They were recognized, as the Corriere della Sera newspaper writes, by people who had seen her works. The prosecutor’s office and the carabinieri had asked for the help of the citizens a few days ago so that the murderer could be arrested.
All the Italian media underline the horror of this murder. The perpetrator even allegedly used the mobile phone of the unfortunate woman (mother of a five-year-old child) to send messages to a journalist – after he had killed her – with which he wanted to create the impression that the 26-year-old was alive.
However, the suspicions increased and the investigations took a new turn when the journalist asked for an audio message, even for three seconds, via whatsapp and the killer cut off all communication with him.
