Talks on the signature by Syria Peaceful Agreement with Israel are “premature”, a Syrian Syrian official said on Wednesday, citing state television, following Israel’s statement that he is interested in normalizing his relations with Damascus and Beir.

“Statements concerning the signing of a peace agreement with the Israeli occupation force are currently considered premature.”stressed this anonymous official source, cited by state television.

“It is not possible to talk about negotiations on a new agreement as long as the occupation force does not fully respect the 1974 unraveling agreement and does not withdraw from areas in which it has invaded,” added.

The Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said Monday that his country ‘Interested’ to normalize its relations with its neighboring countries, Syria and Lebanon.

He emphasized, however, that Israel does not intend to leave the Syrian Golan Heights section of Golan in 1967 and annexed in 1981.

The appeal to normalize relationships takes place at a time of major changes in the balance of power in the region, mainly after the fall in December from Syrian power Bashar al -Assad and the weakening of the Lebanese pro -Izbollah, after its last war with Israel.
