A man lost his life this morning at Bergamo’s al -Serio Airport in a scary accident when he was sucked in a plane turbine.
According to reports so far, the unfortunate man had entered the airway and had started running in the aircraft that had started the traffic to take off.
Volotea’s Airbus A312 was preparing to depart for the Asturias of northern Spain.
The aircraft’s engine allegedly “sucking” the unfortunate man, which caused his instant death.

So far it has not been ascertained if the victim was a passenger or a terminal employee.
After the tragic event, Bergamo Airport remained closed for about an hour and a total of 19 flights have been canceled so far.
