The conviction of Milorad Doddick, president of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska (RS), is seriously undermining security in the area, the Serbian Supreme Security Council, which met on August 2, under the presidency of Alexandar Vucic.

The Sarajevo Court of Appeal confirmed on August 1st of the previous court ruling by Milorad Dodk’s one-year prison and a six-year ban on a public office for non-compliance with the decisions of the High Representative in Bosnia.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in a press conference that “Serbia has been in the most difficult position since 2008 when Kosovo declared its independence.” He pointed out that the verdict for Dodik threatens the smooth coexistence of nations in Bosnia.

“The decision taken is nothing but anti -democratic, turns against Republika Srpska and the Serbian people as a whole,” Vucic said, stressing that “Dodik will not be arrested if he visits Serbia”

Vucic added that “even if an international arrest warrant is issued, the Serbian authorities will not apply it.”

Republika Srpska president Milorad Dodk with a post on the internet thanked Aleksandar Vucic for the support he provides. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced Dodik’s arrival in Belgrade tomorrow, Sunday, to participate in memory events for the victims of the Croatian military operation “Storm” in Kranina in August 1995.
