The term ‘Great Israel’ It refers to expanded borders with biblical or historical descriptions and has many versions, some of which include parts of today’s Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. It spread after the June six days of June 1967 and was “updated” to also refer to the areas that had just conquered Israel – East Jerusalem, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula and the Golan Heights.

It is still adopted by some far -right personalities in Israel, who express the desire to annex or ultimately control many of these territories.
