Debris from a damaged Ukrainian unmanned aircraft caused a fire on the roof of a block of flats in the southern Russian city of Rostov on Don, forcing 15 residents to move away, said the official Governor of the District.

‘The most important thing is that no one was injured’Slusar said in the Telegram messaging application, adding that the fire was immediately under control.

Slusar had earlier stated that Russian anti -aircraft units destroyed 10 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft in three different parts of the Rostov area.

Kiev, which has intensified its attacks on Russia in recent months, said its attacks are a response to Moscow’s ongoing attacks on Ukraine.

Both sides deny that they targeted civilians in the war that Russia began with its complete invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
