Photos of utter destruction from the liberated areas – Kyiv: Russians will pay!

by

Photos utter destruction from the territories liberated by the Russians saw the light of day. According to the Ukrainian government, Ukrainian troops have recaptured more than 30 settlements in the greater Kiev area.

“We will never forgive the inhabitants for our ruined cities, the killed children and the peaceful Ukrainians! You will pay for it! ” said the adviser of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerastshenko posting the photos.

Ukraine has already recaptured the cities of Butsa and Brovary.

Russian forces have also left the Hostomel airport near Kyiv, the UK Ministry of Defense has announced.

However, Volodymyr Zelensky warned the residents of these fleeing cities not to return to their homelands soon. He explained that there was a threat of more bombings there and pointed out that many houses were still mined.

Russia said earlier this week it would drastically reduce its military operations around Kyiv and Chernihiv and analysts expect it to focus on eastern Ukraine. The Pentagon has warned of a “prolonged” conflict in eastern Ukraine that could last for months.

However, according to local authorities in Enherkhodar, Russian forces bombed another part of the city today, four wounded in the attack.

In southeastern Ukraine, Mariupol remains strategically disputed on both sides, and the humanitarian situation there is catastrophic.

According to the latest estimates, about 160,000 people are still trapped inside the city, the occupation of which would allow the Russians to secure a territorial continuity, from Crimea to the two breakaway pro-Russian republics of Donbass.

“Let us not have illusions, fierce battles are still raging”

Fierce fighting is raging in eastern and southern Ukraine, and in particular in the besieged city of Mariupol, Presidential Adviser Oleksy Arestovich said on Saturday.

Speaking on state television, Arestovich said Ukrainian forces around Kyiv had recaptured more than 30 towns and villages in the same area, while maintaining a front line against Russian forces in the east.

“Let us not have illusions. “Fierce battles are still raging in the south, but also in Mariupol, in the east of Ukraine,” he said.
Arestovich said Ukrainian troops had recaptured more than 30 settlements in the Kiev region from Russian forces. Ukrainian troops have stabilized on the front line to the east.
