At least 10 people were killed and 61 were injured when a freight train drove a two -storey bus northwest of the Mexican capital, according to local authorities. Seven women and three children were killed, according to the office of Mexican State Attorney General.

The accident occurred yesterday, when the bus attempted to cross a level rail crossing and was dragged by a passing train, in an industrial zone near the city of Atlakomulko (115 kilometers northwest of Mexico).

Video from a security camera broadcast by Mexican media shows that the bus driver had attempted a reckless maneuver, causing the collision being inevitable.
