“Bloquons tout” is the motto of the protesters in Paris and many major cities of its France for today’s day. Paths, sedentary protests, road exclusions, abstinence from consumption and other actions culminate in the crowd for the forthcoming cuts and reforms, especially in the “social state” that is considered too expensive (and) in France.

Tens of thousands of Frenchmen are involved in today’s mobilizations, which started on Wednesday morning. By the afternoon there were riots broke out in Pariswhere police made more than 130 arrests, while individual incidents are also recorded in Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille, Nantes and other major cities. And then it comes with mobilizations.

French Interior Minister Bruno Ratagio accuses Jean -Luke Melanson’s left -wing opposition of promoting protesters. Analysts wonder if there are interconnections with the older “yellow vests” movement. However, France’s largest trade unions call on separate mobilizations and general strikes on September 18th.

‘We will do it’

The “change of guard” in the prime minister was held at noon, with 39 -year -old Sebastian Lekornou succeeding François Bayrou, who resigned Monday night after failing to receive a vote of confidence in the National Assembly. It seems that Emmanuel Macron, following the exhortations of his ministers, wanted to expedite the procedures so that France would not be completely ruled by today’s mobilizations.

Lekornou is one of the youngest prime ministers in the country’s history. He had been a Minister of Defense to date and is considered a loyal associate of President Macron. In his brief speech, he stressed that “the volatility and the political and parliamentary crisis we are going through require us to be temperate and humble.” To add, however, “We will do it, nothing is impossible.” Immediately after taking up his duties, Lekornos began contacts with party representatives and trade unions.

Concern about financial data

Time is pushing, as France does not yet have a budget for this year, while in the National Assembly the three major political factions (centrals, ethnicists and leftists) are accustomed to the current situation. The growth index does not exceed 0.6%, while the country’s public debt has launched 114%of Gross National Product (GDP) and the budget deficit is estimated at 5.4%.
