Venezuela denounced the reservation and control of its eight hours of fishing vessel by a US warship within the waters of its exclusive economic zone, while the United States has developed warships in the Caribbean, officially, as part of a operation to fight.
The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry has announced that eighteen armed crew members of the US warship were boarded the tone fishing boat, sailing 48 nautical miles from the port of La Blanciya in Venezuela and held it for eight hours. He denounced “a direct challenge through the illegal use of exaggerated military means”.
“Those who order provocations are seeking an episode that will justify war escalation in the Caribbean with the aim of causing a change of regime” in Venezuela, the text is reported.
Caracas “requires the United States to immediately stop the actions that endanger security and peace in the Caribbean and calls on the American people to reject the use of their soldiers as sacrificial pawns to support the ambitions of a greedy and predator.”
The Trump government has developed warships in the Caribbean in the name of fighting drug cartels, causing tension with Venezuela.
Last week, Donald Trump announced that the US hit a “drug boat” and killed 11 “miners”. He presented them as members of the Tran de Aragua organization, the Venezuelan cartel that operates in many countries and has been designated a terrorist organization by the US president.
