Former World Boxing Champion Ricky Hatton was found dead today.
The British boxing star died at the age of 46.
The 46 -year -old was found dead inside his home in Manchester by a face of his environment, who alerted the police.
As the Daily Mail writes, his friends were initially concerned last night, when Hatton did not appear at an event attended by one of his boxers.
According to first reports, his death is not due to criminal activity.
Would return to the ring
During his 15 -year career, Hatton won many world and British championships. In December 2023 it was even introduced to the International Hall of Fame of Boxing.
Among the most important moments of his career was the victory over Russian Costs of Jzi and Jose Luis Castillo.
In July, Hatton – who would be 47 years old next month – announced his return to boxing, with a fight against Eissa al -Dach from the United Arab Emirates scheduled for December 2nd in Dubai.
“Today we not only lost one of Britain’s biggest boxers, but a friend, a mentor, a warrior, Ricky Hatton,” wrote the boxer of boxing, Amir Khan, who implied that his friend and colleague had mental health problems.
