THE Donald Trump warned Israel yesterday Sunday, 24 hours after his raid on Hamas executives in Qatar, a country that the US president described as “a very good ally”.
‘Qatar is a very good ally. Israel and everyone else must be careful. When attacking the world, we have to be careful, “Mr Trump told reporters, who said” very unhappy “for Israel’s bombings on the Gulf Emirate, hosting members of Hamas’ political office.
US diplomacy, however, assures that this action will not hurt relations with Israel.
Qatar is one of the mediators in indirect negotiations in view of the conclusion of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, where the war was in the face of the unprecedented raid of the military arm of the Palestinian Islamic movement in South Israel.
The attack, which had killed five members of Hamas and a member of the Qatar Security Forces, caused an international outcry, especially in the Arab world, with Doha claiming the international community to “stop” pursuing a “two -meter and two stations” policy and punish it.
In Qatar, the largest US military base in the Middle East is established.
For his part, Qatar Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdelrahman al -Thani called on the international community yesterday to “stop having two meters and two weights” and impose sanctions on Israel for “his crimes”.
