Thousands of people were demonstrating today in downtown London against US President Donald Trump’s visit, who launched a two -day official visit to Britain, reporters from the French News Agency (AFP) reported.

“Immigrants are welcome, Trump is not welcome”; “Not in racism, not in Trump”; “Bombard Kids in Gaza and celebrate in the UK”were some of the slogans that wrote the placards of the protesters.

The rally, organized after a call by the “Stop Trump” coalition, was held under the gaze of 1,600 members of the law enforcement forces, was reported by the London police.

Donald Trump arrived in the United Kingdom last night for his second official visit to the country.

The US president and his wife Melania was welcomed by King Charles in the Windsor Castle, about 40 kilometers from London. A formal dinner is foreseen for tonight.

However, Donald Trump is not popular in the United Kingdom.

“We want to give the British (…) the opportunity to express their hatred to Donald Trump, his policy, his racism.”Joey Gardner told AFP of the “Stop Trump” coalition.

“I’m afraid of the way men really bad have invaded the world”Joe Williamson, a 58 -year -old demonstrator, told the French News Agency.

“We had a big demonstration here this weekend, very racist and we want to express our opinion,” she added, referring to a rally organized by the far -right, with the participation of at least 110,000 people.
