“In a direct proportion to the development of US forces in Korea, our strategic interests in the region have also increased and, consequently, we have specially available to key goals of interest,” Kim told a military report in the face of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Labor Party.

“I believe that our enemies should be worried about the direction of their security environment,” the North Korean leader added.

As he said that North Korea “will undoubtedly develop additional military measures” to prepare to respond to the development of US forces, without expanding further.

North Korea has reinforced its military ties with Russia and has supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine by sending troops and artillery, according to South Korean officials.

Kim has also deepened alignment with China and recently traveled to Beijing to attend a military parade for the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, along with Chinese leader Xi Jing and Russian President Vladimir.
