From the unusually high number of drones, 40 were shot down over the Crimean Ukrainian Peninsula, which Russia announced that it annexed in 2014, 62 over the Black Sea and another 5 above the Azov Sea, according to the numbers released by the Russian Ministry.

Russian anti -aircraft defense destroyed Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle heading to the Russian capital, the Moscow mayor said in the early hours of today.
