US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he is glad to work with Democrats for health care policy, a key friction point in the government’s reopening efforts, but stressed that the government’s closure must first end.

The Senate, led by Republicans, rejected the fifth time in conflicting measures to finance federal services, with inadequate support both for the Republican proposal to finance the functions by November 21 and a democratic version that would also extend its health subsidies.
Trump told reporters at the White House that it would be open to a subsidy deal, which help 24 million people buy health insurance through the Affordable Care Act – a law in which Republicans have been opposed here. Strengthening the subsidies that expire was the main demand of the Democrats and the main reason for voting against the Republican plan.
