The view that “the next elections will be quite different from those we had in 2023”, as the electoral public and the electoral landscape are not the same, the President of the Democracy Movement expressed. Stefanos Kasselakis during an interview with the Olympia Forum VI.

“Beyond the scandals that have been revealed since then, there is also the issue of raw everyday life. Small and medium -sized entrepreneurs do not experience growth. Families cannot take out the month. Hospitals are not staffed. The plaster in universities are falling. So people have understood and tells you, where it goes so much money, where all this growth goes, “he said.

Asked if he regretted his involvement with SYRIZA-PS, he said that he was “proud” who chose the lineup he considered “more independent, more popular, more progressive in social issues, but also in the social state”, however, he spoke of “huge pathogens”. “The issue is not the contradiction, it is to change the system radically for everyone, for the social majority. So there is an extracurricular party called the Democracy Movement, which begins with the basis of society and trying to bring the change, the change that will take root in Greek society, “he added.

Called to comment on the departure Tsipras From SYRIZA, he said that he was receiving it as a “flight” and that when he was confronted with SYRIZA’s “pathogenesis”, he did not leave. “You’re not going to be difficult, flight is not the solution. That was what many were hoping there, I would do it, too. If you care about the people, you stay in and fight it. You fight it, you make speeches, you get rid of it, you go to society, “he said.

Regarding regional development that is the central theme of the forum, St. Kasselakis noted that the Democracy Movement has both municipal and regional organizations and its members are active in the field. As he noted, “it is clear that Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ financial narrative has collapsed completely” and people “just want solutions to correct bad texts”, adding that the central proposals he himself presented at the TIF are constantly updated and completed.

He also referred, inter alia, to the proposal of the Democracy Movement to abolish Article 86 on the responsibility of ministers, as he said “protects the fireplaces” and will not punish any politician.

Called to put it on foreign policy issues, she described the Greek government’s stance on Palestinian as a “shame”, while for the Greek -Turkish, she left a spike against her that she was “bowing” to the cable case.
