US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will make more than 34,000 employees on Wednesday due to shutdown of the government, according to a statement from the service.

This accounts for 46% of the service staff. According to the announcement, call centers, IT workers and most of the central administration staff will be sent to their homes. Employees who have enforced the law on taxation and costs, signed by US President Donald Trump in July, will continue to work, according to Reuters.

IRS sends employees to their homes because the US Congress and Trump They failed to reach an agreement last week on public spending. Services throughout the government have been disturbed by Shutdown.

IRS announced in a statement dated September 29 that it would make staff available if Shutdown exceeded five business days.

It is noted that the Internal Revenue Service is the US Federal Government Public Financial Service responsible for collecting taxes and implementing the Internal Revenue Code.
