THE Emanuel Macron and the Marin Le Pen will be the opponents for the French presidency in second round of elections on April 24as in 2017, according to the result of the first round vote.
With almost all the votes counted, o centrist Mr. Macron wins 27.6% of themthe far right Mrs. Le Pen at 23.41% and so on the left Melanson with 21.95%well above the polls.

Zemour and Dupont-Ainian, on the other hand, asked their constituents to support Le Pen in the second round.

According to a nightly poll for BFM, in the second round Macron will receive 52% of the vote against 48% of Le Pen. The poll on behalf of the TV station TF1 reduces this difference to 51% -49% again in favor of Macron.
