Eight people, including a child, were killed in heavy shelling in Kharkov on Monday, according to regional governor Olekh Sinegubov.

Asked about the danger of a new Russian attack in the region, which was recently warned by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Terekhov said that the Ukrainian armed forces are on alert and ready to defend the city. “There is no panic in the city,” Terekhov said.
