Fighting in eastern Ukraine will intensify over the next two to three weeks as Russia continues to refocus its efforts there, the British Ministry of Defense said in a statement today.
He stressed that Russian attacks remain focused in Ukrainian positions near Donetsk and in Lugansk, with further battles around Kherson and Nikolaev and a new impetus to Kramatorsk.

The report also stated that the Russian forces continue to withdraw from Belarus in order to supply themselves to support businesses in eastern Ukraine.
Yesterday, a U.S. defense official said there were indications that Russian forces were supplying and reinforcing troops in the Donbas area.
The unnamed senior official added that Russia appeared to be strengthening its position northwest of Donetsk.
