The Rio Carnival is here again!
After the absence due to Covid, the most lively, colorful and cheerful carnival on the planet returned to the streets of the Brazilian city.
Tens of thousands gathered at the Rio de Janeiro Sambadrome to watch the spectacular spectacle with hundreds of impressive chariots and skilled dancers from Rio’s top samba schools.
Rio Sambadrome has hosted the parade since the 1980s and is a symbol of Brazil’s carnival celebrations. During the pandemic, it was a shelter for more than 400 homeless people and also served as a vaccination station.
