Former US First Lady Michelle Obama shares message for mother on May 8
In a video she posted on her personal Instagram account, she referred to her close relationship with her mother and the values he gave her, while announcing that an exhibition at the long-awaited Obama Presidential Center in Chicago will pay tribute to her mother, Marian Robinson .
“From a young age, my mom, Marian Robinson, encouraged a deep sense of confidence in who I was and who I could be. He taught me how to think for myself, use my voice and understand my worth. “I just would not be who I am today without her.” Michelle Obama wrote, among other things, and added:
“As we prepare for #MothersDay, I’m proud to announce that the ‘Opening the White House’ exhibition at the Obama Presidential Museum will be named in her honor.”

When the museum opens, it will be a place to welcome people from all over the country and around the world, and thousands of families like mine. I love you, mom – thank you for being a guiding light in my life.
