North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who chaired an emergency meeting of the Politburo of the Korean Workers’ Party, has vowed that the crisis will be “overcome” through the implementation of the quarantine system at its “maximum” level.

“The aim is to eradicate (the virus) from the root as soon as possible,” Kim said during the PG emergency meeting, always at the KCNA. He assured that thanks to the “strong political conscience of the people (…) we will surely overcome the state of emergency”.
