Return to PAOK for Bram Van Den Drieswho signed a cooperation contract with the Thessalonians for the 2022-23 season.
The Belgian diagonal left Panathinaikos and returns to the “black and white” after a year.
The announcement in detail:
“PAOKand the Men’s Volleyball department, announce the start of a partnership with the athlete, Bram Van Den Dries, for the 2022-2023 season.
Born on 14/08/1989 in Belgium, Bram Van Den Dries plays as a diagonal and is 208cm tall.
Started by Mendo Booiscot (2005-07) and later competed in Topvolley Callant Antwerpen (2008-09).
In the 2009–10 season, he played for the first time outside of Belgium, playing for Andreoli Latina in the Italian league. He stayed in Italy until 2013, competing in Umbria Volley (2010-11), Volley Segrate 1978 (2011-12) and Sir Safety Conad Perugia (2012-13).
Next stop in his career it was France’s Beauvais Oise UC (2013-14), to continue his journey to Turkey, and Maliye Milli Piyango Ankara (2014-15), and later to Poland and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn (2015-16).
In the 2016-17 season he returned to France, this time on behalf of Spacer’s Toulouse Volley, while the 2017-18 season was his first outside of Europe, competing in South Korea for Ansan OK Savings Bank Rush&Cash in the first half, returning in the second and again in French, Spacer’s Toulouse Volley. He stayed in France in the 2018-19 season as well, playing for Rennes Volley 35, in which he emerged as the top cross of the French league.
The 2019-20 season found Bram Van Den Driesin the first half in Korea, this time for KB Insurance Stars, and in the second half in Greece, on behalf of PAOK, where he played his first term in the “black and white”.
He remained at Dikephalos in the 2020-21 seasonhowever she was “marked” by the pandemic.
Last season he played for Panathinaikoscontributing significantly with his performances to winning the championship.
He is an international with the Belgium National Teamwith which he has even been distinguished as MVP in the European League (2013) while simultaneously winning first place with his country.
