Abrabar (Brazilian Association of Bars and Nightclubs) has just closed a partnership with a shooting club in Curitiba. According to Fábio Aguayo, president of the organisation, the objective is to present entrepreneurs in the sector with a regularized place to start shooting.
He states that the initiative was a reaction to the increase in public insecurity and violence in the face of the growth in the number of robberies and burglaries that affect the sector.
“Some businessmen want to defend themselves or have basic notions, the new public policies of weapons or sports practice of the Bolsonaro government give or open this possibility to the citizen who is interested in acquiring or preparing properly”, says Aguayo.
According to him, the partnership with the club should also serve to familiarize the owner of the establishment with the practice of sport shooting.
Last week, Abrabar announced that it will review the prices of food and beverage menus for the third time this year.
According to Aguayo, many establishments have already made adjustments in January and May, and there is a forecast of a new increase at the beginning of the second semester. The average on beverage menus ranges from 15% to 20%. Food prices are around 10%.
