More than half of the companies do not have policies to promote diversity in the work environment, according to a new survey by Fundação Dom Cabral with 405 executives from small, medium and large businesses.
In addition to the 34% who said they have programs for women, blacks, people with disabilities and LGBTQIA+ in their companies, another 12% do not even know if there are initiatives.
According to the FDC, the percentage of organizations that have policies focused on diversity is still very low, even in entry-level positions.
The survey also reiterated that the majority of executives who occupy positions on the board or management are white, and that the difference between the presence of men and women remains greater when the hierarchical level rises.
