Panel SA: British airline breaks tradition and releases tattoo for crew

by

The airline Virgin Atlantic announced this Tuesday (31) that it will allow the crew to show their tattoos during flights.

Until then, employees had to hide them under the company’s uniform.

In the statement, Virgin Atlantic says that the change in policy is linked to inclusion and valuing the individuality defended by the company. The subject is also addressed in a recent campaign launched by the brand.

Despite not being regulated, the use of tattoos outside the uniform limit was traditionally prohibited by most airlines, especially among British and Arab ones. Flexibility measures have been adopted in recent years.
