What does the second, even more generous subsidy cycle of the “I Move Electric” program, which starts in June, contain?
At a time when the price of fuel is breaking one record after another – more and more consumers are turning to electromobility.
The new electric cars are almost twice as expensive as the conventional ones and this comes to cover the second even more generous subsidy cycle of the program “I move electrically”which starts in June.
The subsidy goes up to 8,000 euros for the purchase of new electricity plus 1,000 euros if at the same time the old polluting car is withdrawn and another 500 euros if you also get a charger for the house ..
Electric bicycles and tricycles are also subsidized with 3,000 euros, electric bicycles with 800 euros and the purchase of a second battery with 300 euros.
With his exclusive statement to SKAI, the Minister of Energy Costas Skrekas invites all interested parties to consider the 2nd cycle of Moving Electric.
“In the new cycle I move Electricly we subsidize with 9,000 € the replacement of an old conventional one to give all our fellow citizens the opportunity to buy an electric one .. to reduce costs but also for the environment
Consumers, however, remain wary of electrification, mainly due to the few charging stations. This is the main reason why in our country much less new electric cars are sold – compared to abroad.
“We are in the last places of the rest of the EU member states .. the fast chargers do not exist in many parts of the road network”, said the President of the Association of Car Importers, Konstantinos Kyratsos
New electric cars, however, are delivered much faster than conventional ones – in a few months, when a new car that burns gasoline, for example, is delivered in up to 18 months.
