The platform arogi.gov.gr has reopened for the households and businesses affected by the earthquake of September 27, 2021 in Crete, said in a statement the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Responsible for State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, etc. Triantopoulos.

Specifically, the measure concerns those who wish to receive first aid in return for housing assistance or a business subsidy or compensation for household goods, after the publication in the Government Gazette of the amending joint ministerial decisions no. 77844 EX 2022, 77843 EX 2022 and 77845 EX 2022 respectively (Government Gazette B ‘2829 / 06.06.2022 and B’ 2830 / 06.06.2022).

Also, with the amending JMs published in Government Gazette B ‘2829 / 06.06.2022 (no. 77844 EX 2022 and 77845 EX 2022), the perimeter of the beneficiaries who can apply for first aid in exchange for housing assistance or household compensation is expanded. The arogi.gov.gr platform will remain open for this purpose from Monday, June 6, to Tuesday, June 14. It is clarified that all companies wishing to apply for first aid should have submitted an application and a file to the Region by February 28 for the grant provided by Law 4797/2021.

On the occasion of the reopening of the platform, the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Responsible for State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Mr. Christos Triantopoulos, made the following statement:

“The Government, in the context of the implementation of its plan for the support of the victims of the earthquake of September 27, 2021 in Crete, once again gives the opportunity to our earthquake-stricken fellow citizens who did not join the support of first aid due to procedural or other issues. to do so now, as with the publication of the relevant amending joint ministerial decisions, the process of submitting first aid applications through the arogi.gov.gr platform has started again, with a deadline of Tuesday 14 June. It also offers the opportunity to beneficiaries who have already submitted an application, to update it, to review it, or even to revoke it, following the completion of the control of their property by the competent services of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

Therefore, the Government gives the opportunity to our earthquake-stricken fellow citizens who have not yet been covered by this support framework, to submit or modify their statements on the platform arogi.gov.gr for the provision of first aid, having at their disposal all the necessary supporting documents. It is recalled that through the framework of first aid, 64.5 million euros have already been channeled to about 7,000 beneficiaries “.
