by

The Ministry of Economy authorized the opening of public tenders to fill 1,000 INSS (National Social Security Institute) technician vacancies and 699 of tax analyst and tax auditor of the Federal Revenue Service.

The position of INSS technician requires a high school education and offers a salary of approximately R$ 6,500. For the IRS contest, the candidate is required to have a college degree. Remuneration starts at BRL 11,000 for the position of analyst and BRL 21,000 for the position of auditor.

In the Federal Revenue Service, there will be 469 vacancies for the position of tax analyst and 230 for the position of tax auditor.

The authorization was published in this Monday’s edition (13) of the Federal Official Gazette. According to the ordinances, the two contests depend on authorization from the Ministry of Economy and are conditioned to the existence of vacancies.

The filling of vacancies will depend on the budgetary and financial adequacy of the new expense to the Annual Budget Law and its compatibility with the Budget Guidelines Law.

The deadline for the publication of the public tender notice will be six months, counting from the publication of the text. This means that the notices must be published by December 13th.

For the Federal Revenue, a reduction to two months was authorized between the period of publication of the notice and the holding of the first test of the contest.

The last INSS public contest was held in 2015 and expired in 2018. At the time, 3,500 candidates were approved for 950 vacancies.
