The “first stamp” is strengthened: How will the employee receive 713 euros “in the pocket”

In a significant facelift program “first stamp” – which did not .. he even wished with the results he had – he proceeds with amendment submitted to Parliament by the Ministry of Labor. The program that subsidizes for 6 months the employment of young unemployed from 18 to 29 years without previous service now offers a triple subsidy regardless of the amount of the monthly salary.

Until now it was provided that the employer and the employee being hired would share € 1200 for a period of 6 months, € 100 each month. Given that the new minimum wage is at € 613 net, it is clear that the employer with the € 600 he received did not even cover the salary cost of 1 month of an employee who is paid the minimum wage.

But now an employer and an employee will share 3600 € for 6 months, 1800 € each, 300 € / month. So the employer with this money will be able to cover the cost of almost 3 months of employee who is paid the minimum wage.

The same employee will get in your pocket 613 € + 300 € = 913 € per month from 713 € with the previous regime. If the recruitment is not full-time but part-time, the subsidy amounts are halved.

The law even allows the same employee to be included at the same time in the program of subsidizing its contributions to 100% for 3 months. This means that for the first 3 months the only expense of the employer will be the net salary of the employee.

For the employee it means that for the first 3 months, to the 913 € he will receive will be added 100 €, therefore his salary will reach 1013 € even though he will be an employee who is paid with the basic salary. It goes without saying that extra money does NOT mean more working hours.

The triple subsidy is not expected to have retroactive effect from 1 January when the measure of the first seal came into force. It will be valid from the date of voting of the ordinance onwards for those who join the program.

The new form of the program is expected to help its branches in particular catering and hospitality, companies whose labor is difficult to find.
