Latam Airlines and Azul Linhas Aéreas appear among the most punctual airlines in the world in May, according to the punctuality ranking measured by Cirium, a company specialized in data analysis for the aviation sector.
According to the survey, Latam occupies the third global position with 88.3% of flights performed on schedule. Azul appears in the fifth position of the ranking, with 87.5% punctuality in the analyzed period.
The top of the list is occupied by the Japanese company ANA, which in May recorded 92% punctuality of flights. The second place went to the airline JAL, also a Japanese company, with 91% punctuality.
The ranking is updated monthly by Cirium, a company that belongs to the LexisNexis group, and which gathers several data sources to carry out the analyses.
