The pension advance for December, as well as the payment of OPEC benefits, are included, among other things, in the planning of the payments of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and its supervised organizations for the week November 29-December 3.
In total, it is estimated that about 463.4 million euros will be paid to more than 1.7 million beneficiaries.
Specifically, as stated in an announcement of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs:
1. The following payments will be made by e-EFKA:
Regular payments
– 12.2 million euros will be paid to 23,500 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, pregnancy, illness, accident, funeral expenses).
– 20.2 million euros will be paid to 650 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.
– Finally, 25,000 euros will be paid to 40 beneficiaries for inheritance benefits of supplementary pension.
Extraordinary payments
– On Tuesday, November 30, 12 million euros will be paid to 28,300 beneficiaries for pension advances in December, based on law 4778/2021.
– 170,607 euros will be paid to 1,154 insured for payment of overdue health debts.
2. The following payments will be made by OAED:
– EUR 15 million will be paid to 39,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
– € 22 million will be paid to 6,500 beneficiaries under subsidized employment schemes.
– € 6 million will be paid to 8,000 mothers for a subsidized maternity leave.
– EUR 1.5 million for 800 participants in public benefit programs (payment of contributions to institutions).
3. The following payments will be made by OPEC on Tuesday, November 30:
– 179.8 million euros will be paid to 820,486 beneficiaries for family benefits.
– 71.4 million euros will be paid to 173,827 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and alimony).
– 52.5 million euros will be paid to 238,537 beneficiaries for Minimum Guaranteed Income.
– EUR 34.2 million will be paid to 281,450 beneficiaries for housing allowance.
– 12.8 million euros will be paid to 12,743 beneficiaries for childbirth allowance.
– 11.6 million euros will be paid to 35,071 beneficiaries for uninsured elderly benefits.
– 8.5 million euros will be paid to 76,000 beneficiaries as a contribution of the State to loans of the “BRIDGE” program (due to COVID-19).
– 188,116 euros will be paid to 360 beneficiaries for sponsorship allowance.
– 323,504 euros will be paid to 875 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.
– 224,153 euros will be paid to 6,362 beneficiaries for expatriate-refugee allowance.
– 74,088 euros will be paid to 93 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of the uninsured.
– 180,000 euros will be paid to 2,800 beneficiaries as a contribution of the State to loans (protection of main residence).
