In an attempt to rejuvenate its image and dialogue with the younger public, the oil and gas industry has sought to diversify the profile of new professionals, attracting young talents with other skills.
This week, the IBP (Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas) will hold an event for young audiences, the Young Summit – Rio Oil & Gas. And investments in biofuels (2% of the total in 2021) are part of the diversification strategy oil and gas companies, led by solar and wind sources, according to data from the International Energy Agency compiled by the IBP.
The sector expects to register the largest share of projects outside the traditional oil and gas chain in investment this year, 4.2%.
