Problems with Nubank generated a spike in user complaints this Friday afternoon (22) on the website Downdetector, which compiles alerts of failures on pages and applications.
The monitoring website recorded hundreds of notifications until 6:30 pm this Friday. Problems with the bank’s Pix accounted for 94% of user complaints.
In the platform’s comments, customers reported problems receiving money through the instant payments system. Another 4% of complaints were due to difficulty logging in to the bank’s application.
The fintech name also appeared on Twitter’s trending topics this afternoon, with around 6,000 mentions.
In a note, Nubank said that it regrets what happened and informs that operations have already been normalized.
