by

With the rise in the price of milk in recent months, Google searches for recipes without the food have grown.

The search for dairy-free brownies has jumped 290% in the last 30 days compared to the same period before, according to the research website. Milk-free mashed potatoes and dairy-free plain dumplings grew by 190% and 160%, respectively.

According to Google Trends, the question “Why is milk so expensive?” set a record in July. The question had not been much sought after in the last ten years, according to the survey.

Despite the deflation of 0.68% in July, the food and beverage group had a high of 1.30%, according to the IBGE. Long-life milk rose 25.46% in the month.
