The US consumer protection agency, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, has issued a warning about 4moms brand baby rocking chairs after reports of two accidents, including the death by suffocation of a 10-month-old child.
The organ points to risk of strangulation in the chair handles.
More than 2.2 million of these products have been sold since 2010 in stores such as Target and Amazon. Another 70,000 were sold in Canada.
The agency recommends that consumers contact 4moms to receive free loop fasteners.
