The Minister of Labor referred to the government’s plan for cheap housing
The government is finalizing the housing policy proposals that will be presented as positions by the prime minister at the TIF, he said on his radio SKY 100.3 the Minister of Labour Kostis Hatzidakis.
He emphasized that these positions will not only concern rents, but more affordable access for young couples to housing. He also said that ideas such as utilizing public and private property for the benefit of young couples as well as interest rate subsidies are being considered.
For the case of monitoring Mr. Hatzidakis mentioned that we must move forward with the greatest possible understanding and sobriety.
“PASOK’s reactions are understandable, but the government has been clear on the need to further shield the institutional framework and has addressed a call to the political world for further proposals that will shield the system,” said the minister.
