Petrobras announced this Friday (26) a reduction of 10.4% in the sale price of QAV (aviation kerosene) to distributors, which will take effect on September 1st.
This is the second straight decline in QAV prices in August, after a 2.6% decline earlier this month, the oil company said.
In a note, Petrobras noted that the QAV price adjustments are monthly and defined through a contractual formula negotiated with the distributors.
“Petrobras’ QAV sales prices for distribution companies seek balance with the international market and follow the variations in the value of the product and the exchange rate, up and down, with adjustments applied on a monthly basis, mitigating daily volatility of international quotations and exchange rates”.
