Another bill that establishes a salary floor for a health professional segment entered the wake of a vote in Congress. The text covers physical therapists, who can start to have a floor of R$ 4,800.
In the case of nurses, the law that was enacted this month has mobilized hospitals and Santas Casas, which claim to have nowhere to pay for the salary increase for employees.
In the possibility for the floor of physical therapists, the CNSaúde (National Confederation of Health), which is against the text, projects an increase of R$ 2 billion in costs annually.
The text is in the Senate Economic Affairs Committee and should be voted on Tuesday (30). If approved, the new floor will go to the Chamber of Deputies.
