Unimed in Rio de Janeiro was, in July, at the top of the ANS (National Supplementary Health Agency) ranking, which lists the health plans with the highest average of complaints.
In June, the operator occupied the third position.
The company is undergoing an economic-financial restructuring and had its fiscal management regime renewed by ANS this year.
Right behind Unimed-Rio in the last indicator, there are names such as Premium Saúde, Promed Assistência Médica, Associação de Beneficência e Filantropia de São Cristovão and Humana Paraná.
The ANS index takes into account the average number of complaints received in the previous three months and classified until data extraction.
In response, Unimed-Rio stated that “it is implementing action plans to return to quality levels”.
