Statements

The Minister of Development and Investments, Adonis Georgiadis pointed out: “We are moving rapidly in activating the regimes of the Development Law. The second link in the development chain is investment in tourism, a strategic sector for the Greek economy with a decisive contribution to the increase in GDP and the creation of new jobs. With the Development Law, the programs of the NSRF and the Recovery Fund, modern financial tools and digital, fast and completely transparent processes, we enable businesses of all levels to advance their investment plans by realizing their goals in the modern economic environment. Above all, we give every entrepreneur the opportunity to make his dreams come true, because as each business flourishes, the Greek economy as a whole flourishes.”

The Deputy Minister of Development and Investments, Nikos Papathanasis said in this regard: “We are continuing vigorously with the activation of the 2nd regime for the Strengthening of Tourism Investments. Tourism is one of the most important and strongest pillars of the Greek economy which, in fact, is expected this year to surpass the performance of 2019. In continuation of this scheme, in the coming days the 3rd aid scheme of the new Development Law will follow, that of Agri-Food . We stimulate business activity with faster and simpler procedures to increase investment, the consequent creation of new jobs and the strengthening of local societies and economies in all Greek regions.”
