Miss Universe Brazil, Mia Mamede, elected in July, and artist Eduardo Kobra participate in the bicentennial celebrations at the UN headquarters in New York.
At the ceremony, this Wednesday (7), the exhibition that Kobra opened on August 25 will be officially opened in the organization’s hall, in the same space where the “Guerra” and “Peace” panels, produced by Candido Portinari in the 1950s, are located.
The ceremony is an initiative of the Mission of Brazil with the UN and Eden Gallery, representative of Kobra in the United States.
Mamede says that being able to participate in an event the size of the commemoration of the bicentennial at the UN headquarters is like fulfilling a childhood dream.
