The food retail chain Assaí launched a training institute in entrepreneurship, food safety and sports.
Instituto Assaí will be a non-profit entity, which will act as the retailer’s arm for social actions and will work together with Aliança Empreendedora, expanding training programs for micro-entrepreneurs, and Pretahub, with on-site activities to accelerate black entrepreneurship in São Paulo and Cachoeira (BA).
The Assaí Academy, which was part of its social programs for micro and small entrepreneurs with 28,000 certificates, will also be part of the institute, according to the company.
